The curlers of the Saskatoon Unit # 38 Curling league have decided to host a Bonspiel in February 2010 that would be open to all Anavets members.

 

We have chosen to host this Bonspiel because we have seen a steady decline in the interest in Provincial Sporting events. We, the Curlers feel that Sports contribute greatly to the health and well being of our Units and to see this decline continue will only spell trouble for our individual Units.

 

The goal of this Bonspiel is to foster a comradeship among the Units in the Western Provinces that has, in our humble opinion started to disappear. In the past we had our Dominion events that created friendships that have gone on for years.
